Cartography as the key visual
A pale outline map does the atmospheric work behind every asset, which frees the headline to stay flat, green-and-gold and completely legible.
Case 03 · Event & Expo Branding
Branding a two-day international conference.

01 · The brief
A serious international conference with three co-hosting organisations, speakers arriving from several countries, and a rolling announcement schedule — all needing to look like one event rather than three partners' posts.
02 · Constraints
03 · Approach
A pale outline map does the atmospheric work behind every asset, which frees the headline to stay flat, green-and-gold and completely legible.
One rounded gold frame, one biography block, one date and venue chip. Portraits of very different quality all land inside the same treatment.
A fixed footer strip gives the three host organisations equal, permanent space so no single asset has to negotiate it.
The announcement artwork scales directly into the stage backdrop, so what people saw online is what they stood in front of.
04 · What was delivered
Event logotype, announcement poster, the full speaker card series, the team post and the stage backdrop.

06 · Result
Weeks of staggered announcements that read as one conference. The frame absorbed every late speaker addition without a new design.

07 · Questions
With a fixed partner strip at the foot, sized so all three marks get equal permanent space. Once it is decided on the first asset, no later asset has to renegotiate it.
Nothing, if the speaker card is a template rather than a design. Portrait, biography block, date chip and venue chip are fixed positions, so a late addition takes minutes and still matches the series.
